This is The Adaline Tiara. It is one of our many side worn tiaras and is more like hair jewellery than a formal, front worn tiara. The modern design lends itself to being used not only at weddings by the bride, but also the bride’s mother or possibly at a formal occasion...the situations are endless. Studded with emeralds and diamonds, some of diamonds we chose are natural brown, making the emeralds look like clover on a woodland path in winter, surrounded by glittering snow…the diamonds.
Hallmarked 18ct gold and silver forms the mount of this jewelled hair tiara. Each emerald stone is held in a separate ‘collet’, the technical term for the little units that hold each individual stone. They are made to fit each stone precisely, and that takes a very long time. Highly polished a minimum of four times during manufacture, they are then linked together and included with the other components to form what you see here…The Adaline Tiara.
The derivation of the name Adaline means noble and this tiara certainly is. An ideal choice for women with green or hazel eyes, dark or light hair. As with all of our tiaras, the band holding the tiara is easily completely hidden within your hair by your hairstylist. Imagine just seeing a floating sea of emeralds and diamonds in your hair…Wonderful.
